5 months to go until we start our great adventure! I’m hoping to use this site to capture all of our photos and keep the old travel blog alive!
We’re celebrating many things during this trip.....Diana’s graduation from UCLA, Mark’s big 60th bday and our 35th wedding anniversary. We have a two part trip. Part one is Deb, Mark and Diana in South America. Then part 2, just Deb and Diana as we cross off a huge bucket list item for me....traveling completely around the world. At the end of this trip, I’ll qualify for the “provisional status” in the Century club-traveling to 100 countries (you can join provisional status once you reach 75)
We’ve spent the past 2 years saving up miles and points (with help of a great Facebook group) and almost all of the trip (flights and hotels, not local tours) has been booked with minimal cost.....but definitely a lot of planning time!
