Counting Down!

Diana and I have been shopping and going through our packing list this past week to get everything in order. We think we have just about everything we need. For those of you who know us well, you know a big chunk of our suitcase will contain "friendly" foods, the other half will have medicine! We have scanned the Yangzhou Reunion invitation for all to see. The pink letter describes the details of the trip and was inside the "Thank You" Card. Other girls on the trip received "Happy Birthday" cards and "Merry Christmas" cards!
The personal note inside to Diana was our favorite part. The note was addressed to Yang Ning Yang, Diana's Chinese name.
We purchased several novels about life in China to read on our long plane trip there and home and have multiple maps and travel books to keep us organized.
Our Chinese Visa's have arrived, allowing us multiple entries into China for the next year! So we are all prepared for our trip in December as well. Diana was not too excited about getting her Hepatitis A shot, and her updated tetanus booster, but understands why we need it.
We can not believe that we will be in China in less than three weeks!

We are going to China next month!

I have been waiting to say that....
Today I went to Borders to purchase a few books on Beijing. We have appointments to check on our immunization status in the next two weeks. The next step is applying for our visa. I hope to work on that this week.
I have posted a couple of pictures of Diana at her latest dance recital. Dance is her most favorite thing to do, she takes nine classes a week :). She has her first competition in two weeks, so she is very excited. Unfortunately she is missing one when we are in China, but she thinks she made a good decision.

Our friends that are traveling with us had our first Skype call last week It was so fun to communicate with everyone at the same time, although some was text and some was voice. we need to work out the bugs :)

Several friends told us they signed up to "follow" our blog, so they would get an email notification when we posted entries and photos. However, the names do not show up on the follow list.
If anyone following receives this message, please let me know. If not, I will see if I can get some help to fix it.
